Dr. Elfenbein graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.
She currently practices in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she treats dogs, cats, and just about anything else with fur that fits through the front door.
Her medical philosophy centers around the pet as part of the family and working within that relationship to resolve medical issues and strengthen the human-animal bond. She believes client education is the most essential part of any veterinary visit and works hard to build relationships with pet parents where they see her as a resource, an advocate for their animal, and a part of their care team.
Dr. Elfenbein also holds a Ph.D. in Animal Behavior. Understanding that there may be a nonmedical cause for disease plays a key role in the way she treats animals. Including both Western and complementary medicine techniques into her treatment plans, her goal is to help the pet while considering the lifestyle and needs of the whole family.
